It's my favorite time of year. The holidays are always such a blast. I love making cookies and going caroling and decorating the house. My favorite is definitely the tree. Looking forward to getting some fun new Christmas ornaments like the one shown here.

Usually this would remind me of a food chain but wow, I had no idea red and yellow can really sit together side-by-side in a nice room. There is some magic going on here, people! I think it's done expertly:

I love how there are bits and pieces of both colors scattered all over the room. Lesson learned: warm colors can go well together.

I like it when people are not shy with scattering numbers and letters all over the house. In fact, one of my dream ideas is to have a wall that is full of found signs, letters, but preferably my initial. That would be awesome...or crazy, depending on how you look at it.

I think I wrote about it before. But I love looking at other houses and focusing on how they hang their artwork. I think it's one of the many things that show off the uniqueness of a home. Hanging up pictures on the wall is nothing new, but if done right, it can be amazing.
This first one amazes because it's all white and yet they look really great:

And I love the mismatch frames on this one:

Seriously. I think it's one of the best ways to upgrade the look of your house. Wood is elegant, classy, sophisticated. Everything a lady should be. I love wooden floors, and I definitely love wooden tables like this one:

The white chairs are a perfect partner, and those brass lightings ain't bad either.

Oh wow! This house is so pink. I cannot decide yet whether it's cute or horrific, haha. But it's amazing in all its...pink-ness.

I wonder what would possess anyone to make everything in one color. If that was me I would get sick of it in a week. But I can be fickle so that probably doesn't count.

Looking at bedroom and bathroom ideas again. These two look really nice:

Wow this is extremely useful. Some of the things here I've never even known before.

Pretty amazing how the simple things in our lives, the ones that we often overlook, are the ones that end up being extremely valuable.

Here's another great idea: use bread clips as labels for your cords. Sometimes with all the wires around the house and all the gadgets you have, it's difficult to remember which is which. This is a great way of keeping organized without spending too much:

Although I laugh at the idea of leftover wine (who would not want to finish a whole bottle, eh?), here's a great idea of what to do with it:

Just pour them over an ice cube tray, freeze it, then use it later for cooking! It's brilliant.
